The Untold Story of James P. Watson
American Bluebeard is a terrific read and a thoroughly well researched piece. The history surrounding this story is fascinating and Burnett-Reaugh is uniquely capable of guiding the reader through the uncharted territory that this story covers. Highly recommend the read, it’s going to make a terrific film down the line.

I received this book and was excited to read it as I like true crime stories. Once I sat down to read it I didn’t stop until I finished it several hours later! Great read. Highly recommend.

Alene has done an extraordinary amount of research on this book and it shows. Her organization of facts and history makes it a fascinating read. It will be to go-to source for information on this man’s life and crimes. How he was able to fool so many women and people boggles the mind. The book is professionally written and published; not at all like so many self-published books. It’s a story that will keep you reading until the end!

Fascinating but sad
Kudos for writing a fascinating but sad book about J.P.Watson. I’m not a fan of poetry yet it provided some insight to Mr. Watson. For all his evil he did have some talent. Thank you, Bill

Wow. Really moves the reader into the feel of life for single women about 100 years ago. Their need for love, independence and trust all to be taken in by a charming psychopath. The research behind this story is unusually thorough. An engaging and thought provoking book.

Screenplay is needed for this story
Although I had read a couple of excerpts in the course of Alene’s writing, I was still SO appalled. I had said then and still would love to see a screenplay written. It’s certain to be a box office success. It’s a story that needs to be heard. Sandra

A well written book about an odious man who married women, took their money, and often murdered them. He got away with it for over 20 years and was only caught when a living wife hired a PI to find out what he was up to. He preyed primarily on women who had assets, but occasionally would marry a poor one. There’s no way to know how many women he murdered but it was upwards of 50.
I would have given 4 stars if the author hadn’t included the killer’s horrible poetry.

Captivating, good, true story of a twisted serial killer. Extensive research provides solid base for this book. I’m not usually a fan of true crime stories, but this book held my interest throughout. Nice to see an Amazon book that is well edited.
